Lumo Scanner from Specim Spectral Imaging

Lumo Scanner is a data recording application for Specim’s hyperspectral scanner systems. The software allows the user to setup, adjust and acquire data for any supported Specim spectral camera. The user can also set and control the scanner stage and sample positioning. Lumo Scanner supports various workflow options such as taking a white, dark and sample image file with one click.

Lumo Scanner is a data recording application for Specim’s HSI scanner systems. Lumo Scanner can control the hyperspectral camera and the scanner. It can also control other external devices, required for certain sensors, such as thermal calibrator, triggering electronics, and so on. The software is divided into three main areas, 1) setup for connecting to cameras, stages and other preferences, 2) Adjust for setting camera parameters and workflow, and 3) Capture for image acquisition. The software has a built-in scripting and sequential workflow engine controlling all the steps and automation to be performed for each measurement.

• 128GB SSD hard drive or more for the operating system.
• 256GB SSD hard drive or more for each sensor to record the data.
• Graphics card with OpenGL 2.0 support or better.
• 64-bit operating system to allow large file handling.
• Screen resolution of 1024 x 800.
