New Website!

We've re-vamped our website following the name change to Middleton Spectral Vision.

Our company recently decided to change our name to express our focus on dedicated hyperspectral and spectral vision products. Middleton Spectral Vision has the same management and ownership, the same talented and hard-working team as before, to solve your optical monitoring problems. We do not turn away any application problems and we try very hard to find the appropriate wavelength range and appropriate technique to best suit the speed, resolution and composition measurement requirements.

SPECIM Launches a New Fully-Redesigned Hyperspectral SWIR Camera with Breakthrough Features

SPECIM's new high-speed hyperspectral camera in the SWIR range (1000 - 2500 nm) has more spatial pixels (384) and still achieves much faster image rates up to 400 frames per second using CameraLink connection. The hyperspectral camera uses a cooled mercury-cadmium-telluride (MCT) sensor that allows excellent signal-to-noise in the 2300-2500 nm region other competing SWIR cameras do not cover.

With its temperature stabilized optics, it provides the stability and sensitivity required in today's most challenging near-infrared chemical imaging applications, from pharmaceutical quality assurance to food and agriculture analysis.

Applications

  • Chemical and Material sorting
  • Pharmaceutical manufacture
  • Recycling
  • Mineral mapping
  • Food and agriculture
  • Moisture content distribution
  • Art research and archiving
  • Forensics
  • Airborne

SPECIM recently launched a new fully redesigned and re-engineered full-region (970 - 2500 nm) hyperspectral SWIR camera with breakthrough features. Now with more spatial pixels (384), it still achieves much faster image rates of up to 400 frames per second, taking advantage of the new CameraLink interface. The new SWIR camera now has rugged weather-proof IP54 casing and temperature stabilized optics, deeper cooling and a better signal-to-noise ratio while still using less power than the previous model, only 50W nominal.

AisaFENIX

The recently introduced Fenix is the only commercially available camera with an extended wavelength range of 400-2500 nm using a common optical path. In applications where the co-registration of the VNIR and SWIR regions is very important,  the unique optical design of the Fenix allows the use of the same lens for both the VNIR and SWIR hyperspectral sensors.
